OR THE PEOPLE USING INTERNET TO PARTICIPATE AGAINST CRIMES TO GAIN RUST FROM THEM AGAIN.   THIS POLICE PROJECTS IS A WISE POLICE PLAN IN IMPLEMENTING AND CARRYING THEIR DUTIES IN RELATING TO PEOPLE AND PARTICIPATE WITH PEOPLE IN SUPPRESSING CRIMES.  PEOPLE COMPLAINTS AND CRIME REPORTS EVEN THEY ARE THE VICTIMS OR NOT IS THE ESSENTIAL PART OF RESOLVING CRIMES. NOT IN ALL CRIMES AND AREAS THE POLICE ARE THERE AND PEOPLES HELP VICTIM OR NOT NEED TO HELP OUR GOVERNMENT OR POLICE TO RESOLVE CRIMES.  

THE INTERNET TODAY WOULD HELP ALSO IN CRIME REPORTING AND EXCHANGING IDEAS IN

SUPPRESSING CRIMES.  IT WILL HELP IN CRITICIZING POLICE WORKS TO BE GOOD.  IT WILL HELP TO DETERMINE IF STILL PEOPLE TRUST POLICE IN THE SERVICE. WE HOPE THE IDEAS WILL BE LAUNCH BY THE POLICE IN THE SOCIAL MEDIA WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE IN SUPPRESSING CRIMES AND RELATING TO PEOPLE. THE ANTI CRIMES PROMOTIONS ENCOURAGE THE NETIZEN'S OR THE PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE WITH THE POLICE IDEAS IN CRIME SUPPRESSION'S BUT BE SURE YOU ARE ABIDING HUMAN RIGHTS AND LEGAL AGAINST ANY SUSPECTS.  WE HOPE THE POLICE ARE ALSO RESPECTING RIGHTS OF THE NETIZENS IN SOCIAL MEDIA AND YOU WILL NOT MAKE ANY ILLEGAL INTELLIGENCE ON THEIR ACCOUNTS TO TRACK CRIMINALS OR ABUSE ANY.  AGAIN THE ANTI CRIMES PROMOTION SUPPORT YOUR ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE BUT WE ARE ALSO AGAINST TO ANY ABUSES YOUR PEOPLE MIGHT OCCUR.  IN ANY GOOD ACTIONS OF PNP IN GENERAL THERE IS ABUSES AROUND WILL USE YOUR GOOD ACTIONS TO ABUSE THE INNOCENT.  BE AWARE ALWAYS ON ANY ABUSERS IN YOUR FORCE AND SYSTEMATICALLY DO YOUR SYSTEM NOT VULNERABLE TO ABUSERS.

Pimentel wants Balikatan-type drills for PNP

MANILA, Philippines — If the Philippine military have Balikatan Exercises, a senator wants the police to have their own “Kapatiran Exercises,” too. 

Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III proposed that the Philippine National Police (PNP) should step up its prevention and crime solution techniques by having its own “Balikatan-type” agreement. 

“Instead of a ‘Balikatan exercise,’ our police force could undertake joint ‘Kapatiran exercises’ with police forces of other countries in order to improve the crime-fighting and crime-solving skills of the PNP,” Pimentel said in a statement Sunday. 

The senator said ‎that the PNP should pattern the proposed deal with the VFA and modify it to “Visiting Forces Police Agreement (VFPA).” 


Seeking a “better training” from the country’s police force, Pimentel said on Sunday that the PNP should enter into an agreement with countries ‎with “advanced crime-solving and crime-fighting techniques.”

The Philippine National Police wants to be part of the emerging community in the social media where netizens communicate and share information, thus, the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR) conducts seminar on Social Media attended by different police officials from the PNP Directorial Staff, National Administrative Support Units (NASUs), National Operational Support Units (NOSUs), Police Regional Offices and other PNP offices today (April 15, 2014) held at DPCR Conference Room, Camp Crame.
 

The one-day seminar aims to enhance the utilization of social media as a strategy in harnessing support on crime prevention and solution as well as increasing netizens participation in crime reporting and to be able to measure the impact of social media activities in improving the police service.

Press Statement of the Chief, PNP PDG ALAN LA MADRID PURISIMA

To our friends from the media, ladies and gentlemen, good morning.

It is with deep honor and pride that I introduce to you a new breed of police officers who exemplify the best and the finest in the police service despite their young age and relatively new experience in law enforcement.

Against the backdrop of President Aquino’s recognition of 38 police officers yesterday for their respective individual roles in Zamboanga, Bohol and Tacloban, we give credit today to four more rookie police officers of the Pasay City Police Station who demonstrated great courage last Sunday (March 30) after they were engaged in a shoot,out in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City resulting to the arrest of one suspect and wounding of 2 other perpetrators who managed to escape. They are: PO1 Juliet Macabadbad, PO1 Delia Langpawen, PO1 Marcelina Bantiyag, and PO1 Maricel Rueco.
