NCRPO-RAID Seize Six Million worth of “Shabu”
Arrested suspects are Nhelmar Mendiola y
Martin, 27 years old a.k.a Honda and Glen Ramos y Akiatab, 29 years
old. Both suspects are jobless, single and residents of Pasig City.
During the arrest, another one (1) kilo of shabu and a cal. 38 with
ammunitions was confiscated from Mendiola. Two (2) vehicles Honda Civic
color green with plate number IDD 814 and Honda Civic color black with
plate no. UUY 594 was also seized. Both suspects will be charge in
violation of Section 5 (Sale, Dispensation, Delivery) in relation to Sec
26 (Attempt or Conspiracy) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of RA
9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591
(Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunitions Regulation Act).

Pagdilao NCRPO lauded another accomplishment of the Regional Anti-
Illegal Drugs (RAID)-NCRPO.
The relentless effort of RAID on the
intensified implementation of Oplan Lambat-Sibat against illegal drugs
resulted to the arrest of two suspects and confiscation of six million
(6M) worth of Shabu over the weekend. Sunday September 27, 2015 in a
drug buy-bust operation led by PINSP Michael Yap along Ortigas Ave.

Pagdilao also lauded the accomplishment
of the District Special Operating Unit (DSOU) - District Anti-Illegal
Drugs (DAID) of the Southern Police District (SPD) for the seizure of
more or less 15 kilos suspected “Shabu” and arrest of one (1) Chinese
National.
He emphasized that the coordination
among operating units led to the success of the anti-drug operation. “We
have scored seventeen (17) kilograms of Shabu in three (3) days.
Teamwork has played a keyrole in our anti-drug campaign and we assure
the public we will work harder to accomplish more.”
Pagdilao asserted that all police
officers must remain vigilant, watchful and continue to intensify the
fight against illegal drugs. “Let us pursue our collaboration with PDEA
as well as with the Barangay Anti Illegal Drug Abuse Council (BADAC).
“Our success in our anti-drugs campaign relies greatly on the
cooperation of all stakeholders” he added.
