DILG’s national most wanted fugitive, 3 others nabbed in Luzon
After the successful arrest of five most wanted felons in Luzon on Monday, police authorities net four strikes against notorious fugitives including DILG’s national most wanted person during a one-day Luzon-wide manhunt operations on April 5, 2022, Philippine National Police Chief General Dionardo Carlos confirmed.
In Central Luzon, Nicole John Fabian SALAMAT, 26 years old, listed in the National Most Wanted Person of DILG with a Php130,000.00 reward based on DILG Memorandum Circular Number 2021-120, was arrested on April 5, 2022 at about 1:00 PM, in Purok 2, Brgy. San Nicolas, Hagonoy, Bulacan by joint operatives of PIU Bulacan (lead unit), RIU 3 PIT-Bulacan, 1st Bulacan PMFC and Hagonoy Municipal Police Station (MPS) by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Ma. Cristina G Laderas of RTC Branch 85, City of Malolos, Bulacan for the crime of Rape in relation to RA 7610, docketed under Criminal Case Number 4316-M- 2018, with no bail recommended; and Warrant of Arrest for the violation of RA 9995 (Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009) with bail recommended of Php70,000.00. Salamat is now under the custody of PIU–Bulacan for documentation and proper disposition and turn over to the court of origin.
In Northern Luzon, Junjun PAKYUD a.k.a “Teofelo Uhoban Pacyod”, 41 years old, former member of CAFGU tagged as Isabela’s Top 10 Most Wanted Person (Provincial Level) was arrested on April 5, 2022 at about 10:00 AM, in Brgy. Matusalem, Roxas, Isabela, by joint operatives of CIDG RFU2-Isabela PFU (Lead Unit), 1st Isabela PMFC, PIDMU- Isabela PPO, PIU- Isabela PPO and Roxas MPS by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Efren Mangosing Cacatian of RTC Branch 35, Santiago City, Isabela for a violation of the Anti-Cattle Rustling Law of 1974 (2 counts) docketed under Criminal Case Numbers 35-13250 and 35-13251 with bail recommended of Php180,000.00 each case. Pakyud was brought to CIDG Isabela PFU Office for documentation and proper disposition prior turn-over to the court of origin.
On the other hand, Cagayan’s Top 7 Provincial Most Wanted identified as Domingo Manuel TASI, 39, was arrested on April 5, 2022 at about 9:30 PM, at a Comelec Checkpoint in Barangay Camasi, Peñablanca, Cagayan, by operatives of Peñablanca Municipal Police Station (MPS) by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Acting Presiding Judge Marivic Aragones Cacatian-Beltran of RTC Branch 4, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan for the crime of Rape docketed under Criminal Case Number 23093 with no bail recommended. Tasi was brought to Peñablanca PS for documentation prior turn over to the court concerned.
In Southern Luzon, Rizal’s Top 1 Provincial Most Wanted identified as Roman Legaspi TIMOLA a.k.a “Romantic/Mantik”, 53 years old, was arrested on April 5, 2022 at about 4:44 PM, in M. Santos Extension, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City, Rizal by operatives of Antipolo City Police Station by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued Presiding Judge Hon. Roslyn Rabara Tria, of RTC Branch 94, Quezon City for the crime of Rape docketed under Criminal Case Number R-QZN-21-10666, with no bail recommended and Warrant of Arrest for the violation of RA 7610 docketed under Criminal Case Number R-QZN-21-10667 with bail recommended of Php200,000.00. Legaspi is now under the custody of Antipolo CPS for documentation and proper disposition.
