1 KILLED, 3 ARRESTED DURING ANTI-ORGANIZED CRIME OPERATIONS OF CALOOCAN POLICE, NCR-CIDG

1 KILLED, 3 ARRESTED DURING ANTI-ORGANIZED CRIME OPERATIONS OF CALOOCAN POLICE, NCR-CIDG

Police operatives of Caloocan City Police Station and National Capital Region-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (NCR-CIDG) killed one (1) and arrested three (3) suspects in Sto Nino St., Administration Site, Brgy 186, Tala, Caloocan City earlier today, October 27, 2015.

At 2:30 in the morning, elements of Caloocan CPS and NCR-CIDG conducted anti-organized crime operations and service of warrant of arrest which resulted in the death of Berlin A. Del Rosario, jobless and resident of 2011 Santrans Road, Barracks II, Brgy 186, Caloocan City after he engaged the operatives in a shootout.

Berlin Del Rosario has standing warrant of arrest for carnapping with physical injuries under CC#90385 issued by Hon. Judge Dionisio C. Sison of RTC, Br 125, Caloocan City with Php 300,000.00 Bail recommended and another case of carnapping with physical injuries under IS no. XV-02-INV-13G-3364 to 65 presently pending for resolution before the Caloocan City Prosecutor’s Office.

The operatives also arrested three (3) persons namely Benjielito D. Santos, construction worker and resident of Villa Emelda Subd., Camarin, Caloocan City; Ronnie Caberto Santos, lumber helper and resident of No. 2439 Santo Nino St., Admin Site, Tala, Caloocan City; and Rollie Junio Magno, jobless and resident of no. 2439 Santo Nino St., Admin Site, Tala, Caloocan City.

The operatives seized from the suspect's possession one (1) pc guava type fragmentation grenade; one (1) pc cal .38 Revolver; one (1) cal 22 homemade semi automatic machine pistol; one (1) pc improvised pen gun; and assorted rounds of firearm ammunition.

Operatives also recovered one (1) Yellow/blue SYM motorcycle 9620-PV; one (1) Black SYM motorcycle 1677-TS; two (2) units cannibalized motorcycles; and assorted parts of dismantled motorcycle that were suspected to be stolen and believed to be being used by the group in their criminal activities.

All the three (3) arrested suspects and the seized/recovered items were brought to North Caloocan Police Station for initial documentation prior to their transport to NCR CIDG, Camp Crame, Quezon City. (PNP-PIO)
