MARQUEZ COMMENDS AIDG FOR SUCCESSFUL ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUG OPERATIONS

Marquez honored today ten (10) Anti-Illegal Drugs Group (AIDG) personnel
during the traditional flag-raising ceremony at the PNP National
Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City.
The AIDG operatives received “Medalya ng
Kagalingan” (PNP Medal of Merit) for their heroic deed during the
successful conduct of anti-illegal drugs operations on January 12, 2016
at Barangay Lawang Bato, Valenzuela City which resulted in the arrest of
two (2) Filipino-Chinese nationals and seizure of 36 kilograms of
methamphetamine hydrochloride “Shabu” with Dangerous Drug Board (DDB)
value of Php180 million.

Furthermore, a plaque of appreciation is
given to Director Ismael G. Fajardo, Director III and Investigation
Agent 5 Joseph Theodore B. Atila, both from the Philippine Drug
Enforcement Agency (PDEA), for their assistance to the PNP-AIDG.
In a follow-up operation on January 15,
2016 at Binondo, Manila, the said team further recovered 15 kilos of
“Shabu” with DDB value of more or less Php25 million after a brief
firefight with the resisting suspects which resulted to minor injuries
